FAQ

How can I make an appointment?
Please text or call 609-751-1300. I will get back to you as soon as possible to schedule

Do you need to use my electricity or water?
No, My van is completely equipped with everything I need to provide a professional grooming.

How much do you charge for grooming?
Price depends on the breed of dog, size, condition of the coat, and behavior of your dog.  I am happy to discuss all this with you to get you an estimate.  Price will be finalized at the start of your grooming appointment after we have a grooming consultation

Why are Mobile Grooming prices higher than a grooming salon?
Convenience!  As professionals and parents, we all know that life is super busy!  We all want the very best for our dogs, but time does not always work on your side. You don't have to use valuable time to drive your dog to the groomer. You save on gas and don’t have to wait hours to pick your dog up. Your dog is not subjected to anyone else’s pets, a noisy salon, hours of waiting in a crate, and will not have multiple people grooming him.  It is truly a convenient and stress free service provided right at your doorstep.

Can I schedule a standing appointment?
Yes, Absolutely.  Standing appointments are the best way to ensure I will be available to keep your dog looking and feeling good

What vet records are required?
I require proof of rabies vaccination or titer on all dogs over the age of 6 months before any grooming services will be provided

What types of payment do you accept?
Cash, check, and zelle are accepted. Payment is due at the time of service

Do you tranquilize dogs?
I do not tranquilize any dogs. Tranquilizers are something only a veterinarian should prescribe

Will you groom my dog if it doesn’t behave perfectly?
I will do my best.  Please be honest with me as to any behavioral problems your pet may have with grooming. If you are honest, I may use a different approach or make adjustments to make the dog have a better experience, while keeping myself safe.  I know that every dog does not always behave perfectly.  If your dog is really aggressive to the point that I feel it is unsafe for myself and/or your dog, then I will not be able to provide grooming services.  You should then contact your veterinarian for grooming options.

How do you groom my heavily matted pet?
If you dog is slightly matted I will do my best to get them out.  However, de-matting can be painful, stressful, add additional cost and is not always in the best interest of the dog.  Often if your dog is heavily matted I will recommend shaving off the coat.  The coat will grow back healthier and stronger. Going forward I would recommend regular scheduled appointments to keep the coat maintained

Do I need to be home when my pet is groomed?
Yes, for the first two times.  After the first two groomings, arrangements can be made so I can
groom your pet when you are not home

Do you express anal glands?
I will express anal glands externally upon request.  If internal expression is needed, you will
need to see your veterinarian
